能响曲线在很大的范围内保持平坦的好处:
现在的剂量率测量仪器都是用137Cs源刻度的,即测量仪器对能量为662keV的光子的响应,即每单位剂量率(μSv/h)对应的仪器计数率cps,刻度好后,反过来,根据计数率cps就可得到当前场的剂量率,而光子能量不同时(如60Co),同样剂量率的辐射场对应的仪器响应(cps)是不一样的,该响应与仪器对137Cs的响应进行比较后的归一化曲线就是所谓的能量响应曲线。实际测量中的辐射场不是单能场,而是在一定范围内具有能量分布的场,即所谓的能谱(见下图不同辐射场能谱的比较),这样,同样的仪器在实际的辐射场(不同于刻度时的137Cs辐射场)下的测量结果就会和用单能的137Cs刻度的结果之间存在误差,显然,能量响应曲线在越宽的范围内越平坦,利用该仪器所得到的测量结果误差越小。
 
特点:
6150 AD—b的“平均值”操作模式和“剂量率测量”操作模式相比,更适合低辐射量的测量。剂量率仪从测量系统开始工作起通过计算脉冲数量和测量时间得到一个平均值。平均值显示可反应当前值的水平,平均值通过操作可清除并重新开始,当探头更换或者测量系统关闭平均值也可以清除并重新开始。
